After a long wait the release date to the Goblin Slayer OVA Blu-ray DVD release has finally surfaced over net. The official website to Goblin Slayer recently announced that the Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown will release on Blu-ray and DVD on July, 29. The OVA episode is reported with 60 minutes run-time. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown illustration by character designer Takashi Nagayoshi will be included in BD premium box.
The Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown adapts the volume 5 of the light novel where a young noblewoman has disappeared while out on a goblin hunting quest.
When Goblin Slayer and his part set out to find her, they are stunned to discover a horde of goblins have built their nest within an ancient dwarven fortress…and these ones even appear to be followers of some primitive, sadistic cult! But what troubles Goblin Slayer most of all is their leader, who is stronger and more intelligent than any goblin he’s faced before.
The theatrical OVA movie opened in Japanese theatres on February 1. Staff at White Fox returned to work on the OVA with director Takaharu Ozaki. Cast members reprised their original roles joined by Sumire Uesaka as Noble fencer.
